Reviewed on: September 18, 2009 \| Watch trailer \| Improv performers make ‘The Informant’ a winner ow what a fun, sarcastic and ironic twist of a ride all rolled into one movie. Even if “The Informant!” weren’t based on a true story it would still be entertaining because it is very clever. Director Steven Soderbergh (who gave us the “Ocean’s 11, 12 and 13” movies and the incredible “Traffic”) has delivered one of his finest projects, and who better to be the main lead than Matt Damon? I bet Damon jumped, no leaped, at the opportunity to be in this film after being in those serious “Bourne” flicks... [more]	'The Informant'

Reviewed on: September 9, 2009 \| Watch trailer \| Here’s a number you can count on to save the world — 9 It won’t be too long before the last tripling of dates for numerology fans of releasing suspense/thriller/horror/sci-fi flicks is no more. I imagine we’ll get one helluva Christmas horror movie when 12/12/12 rolls around. For now though we’ll have to settle for this week’s 09/09/09 with the appropriately titled, “9.” First off let me state the obvious parallels with another “9” currently playing in theaters. Like that director his feature length motion picture was based on one of his science fiction shorts. Produced by “Lord of the Rings” director Peter Jackson this movie (“9”) stars one of that director’s pivotal stars, Elijah Wood.
